Tactical Medical (TacMed) courses are designed for military, law enforcement, fire/rescue/EMS and security professionals. Our curriculum is proven effective for medical and non-medical backgrounds and is ideal for those working either overseas or domestically in tactical environments from urban settings to austere and remote operations.
We offer several packages to train and certify personnel, using two-day, three-day, four-day and custom-length courses to create the most proficient trauma medicine practitioners on the field. Training is 80% hands-on application in the form of labs, skills stations and practical exercises. All courses cover the latest guidelines, techniques, recommended equipment and include a final training exercise in accordance with recommendations from the committees on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
K9 Casualty Care is a stand-alone specialty course that prepares canine handlers, teammates and owners to assess and treat canine trauma, medical emergencies and diseases. As with all our TacMed courses this program uses the most current K9 Casualty Care guidelines to give our canine partners that best chance at operational success and survival.
Constellis instructors are chosen for their expertise, professional attitude and passion for the industry. Their real-world experience brings unique qualifications to our cardiac training curriculum. Our medical trainers have current backgrounds from military SOF, law enforcement, fire/rescue/EMS and private military/security contracting. All graduates earn certification through the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), valid for three years (TCCC) or four years (TECC and PHTLS) and earn Continuing Education.
Our Tactical Combat Casualty Care course is designed especially for military personnel, both medical and non-medical responders.
The two-day course teaches the latest principles and guidelines of Tactical Combat Casualty Care needed in the field. A culminating scenario-based exercise provides application under real-world stress.

Graduates earn certification through the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), valid for three years and 16 hours of Continuing Education.
The three-day course covers all the standard two-day curriculum and adds training in responding to MASCAL incidents, Casualty Collection Point operations and a tissue and ballistics lab.

The four-day package is designed to generate greater confidence and proficiency by including all the above plus managing combat stress, two moulage training scenarios and increased repetitions during hands-on evolutions.

Our Tactical Emergency Casualty Care course is designed for domestic responders working in law enforcement, fire/rescue/EMS, professional security or home/personal defense.

PHTLS is designed for medical personnel treating trauma patients in the field. Developed by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma this training prepares providers to reduce morbidity and mortality through effective assessment and treatment of injuries. The curriculum incorporates data and lessons learned from military and domestic tactical medicine, increasing survival based on the latest science for assessment, equipment, techniques and guidelines.
This program is designed for EMTs, AEMTs, paramedics, physicians, nurses, physician assistants and others working out-of-hospital and/or receiving patients in emergency departments. PHTLS training is highly valuable to providers working ground, air and maritime response.

Graduates will earn the internationally recognized PHTLS certification from the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT) valid for four years.
Two-day course consists of classroom lessons, skills training, testing and scenario-based exercises. Earn 16 hours of CAPCE CEUs.
The hybrid program consists of approximately eight hours in a self-paced online format followed by a half-day in-person skills evaluation and scenario-based exercise. This course consists of eight hours online and four hours on site. Earn 16 hours of CAPCE CEUs.
For those renewing PHTLS certifications, this one-day course consists of a review, skills evaluation, testing and scenario-based exercises. The course lasts six hours. Earn eight hours of CAPCE CEUs.
Our BLS course delivers participants instruction and skills practice in adult and pediatric CPR/AED skills. This course is open enrollment to anyone. BLS certification can be added to an ACLS or PALS course for an additional $45.

Current ACLS / ALS certification
AHA or ARC ACLS/ALS certification valid for 2 years. Earns 6 Continuing Education credits.
PALS is designed for advanced-level providers that have responsibilities to direct or work as a member of a team during pediatric respiratory and/or cardiac emergencies for stable and unstable patients. Throughout the course, we break down the types of pediatric respiratory and shock emergencies into four pathophysiological events in each case. This course includes codes and teaches recognition, assessment and treatment of pediatric bradycardias, tachycardias, cardiac arrest and post-arrest care.

This one-day course teaches the latest principles and guidelines of Tactical Casualty Care while embracing critical differences in canine management, safety, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. It also prepares responders to manage their canine partner during medical emergencies and illness whether at home or deployed.
